Jennifer Lopez And Marc Anthony Turning To Scientology

It seems that Jennifer Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony may be turning to Scientology, the couple have been spotted attending meetings as recently as December.

Lopez and Anthony apparently entered the religion with the help of Angelo Pagan, the husband of King of Queens actress Leah Remini, who Lopez refers to as one of her closest friends.

Fox news is reporting that as recently as December, the couple was taking professional meetings at the Scientology Celebrity Centre in Hollywood.

This could also explain the sudden close friendship between the couple and Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, with the pair even attending the Cruise wedding.

Anthony is said to have taken the "purification" course already and Lopez is keen to embrace the religion, which she says her father has been a part of for over 20 years.

Sources have speculated the reason Lopez is so keen to embrace scientology is due to problems in her marriage. After two failed marriages, Lopez confided to a friend that she "would do anything" to help her marriage. Lopez is also desperate to have a child as her 37th birthday looms closer.

A source says that they were invited to meet Lopez and Anthony at the Celebrity Center. "They're in,? the source said. "There's no doubt about it."
