Judge “Optimistic” About Pete Doherty’s Progress

The judge at Pete Doherty?s latest court review today has praised the singer?s efforts in beating his drug addiction.

Attending a review in East London today, Doherty was told by District Judge Jane McIvor that she was ?optimistic? over the singer?s progress.

Quoted on BreakingNews, she said: ?This is more optimistic but we cannot take the pressure off. It takes day-to-day effort?.

Speaking outside the court Doherty was upbeat.

He said: ?It?s like she said, really it?s just time. For the first time I am actually turning up for appointments in a coherent state. For them, it?s a big step. It?s just a really positive time for me at the moment?

There are also strong rumors emerging that Pete Doherty is to marry his supermodel on-off girlfriend Kate Moss tomorrow. The couple apparently ?wed? on a Thai beach, though this has been denied.
