Madonna has hit back at the people who have been saying that she's too old to represent the clothes shop H&M.
The singer has recently been announced as the face for H&M's Autumn 2006 Collection. This decision has been criticised by advertising experts, who say that H&M's shoppers are mainly young women, and that Madonna is too old to represent the company.
Madonna's spokesperson refutes these claims, insisting that the 47-year-old has more energy than an 18-year-old, reports breaking news.ie. Advertising guru, Jerry Della Femina, remains adamant that using Madonna is a bad idea though, saying: "These kids trade in stars every two or three years, and many don't know Madonna."
Liz Rodenburg, Madonna's spokesperson, has hit back, saying: "I defy any 18-year-old to do a quarter of what Madonna does on stage. I hope Jerry Della Femina takes a nice pill."
