Shakira Gets Massive Erection

Columbian pop star Shakira is being honoured with a massive erection ? her hometown is building a statue of her.

Officials in Barranquilla are having a 16 foot tall steel statue shipped into the town to pay tribute to their famous daughter.

Shakira, who has just released new album Oral Fixation, is said to be delighted at the news after seeing plans of the statue ? and hopes it will be a beacon of hope to her fans back home.

She told contactmusic.com, ?I want people to think that any girl can start working on her dreams and that they will come true."

The statue should also make Shakira's self-confessed "small and humble" breasts appear a little more imposing.
