Will Kristen Stewart Be His Leading Lady? Former Flame Rupert Sanders Signs Up To Direct Movie ‘Napoleon’
Rupert Sanders, who is better known for his 2012 fling with actress Kristen Stewart than his work as a director, has been signed up to lead biopic Napoleon by Warner Bros.
The infamous director of Snow White And The Huntsman, who was spotted kissing leading lady Kristen in a carpark in Los Angeles last Summer, while he was still married to model Liberty Ross and Stewart was dating Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson, has been confirmed as taking helm of the drama about the French leader.
According to Deadline Sanders will direct, with Gianni Nunari signed on to produce and Jeremy Doner to pen the script. The site claims it promises to be a pretty gory depiction of Napoleon’s illustrious life and won’t take any prisoners when it comes to the brutal battle scenes.
Sander’s schedule is fast filling up with upcoming projects including mafia movie 90 Church and The Kill List. But one project he won’t be returning to is Snow White And The Huntsman 2, which is reported to start shooting next month.

The revamped fairytale starring Stewart, Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron had been Sander’s directorial debut but, following his affair with Snow White aka K Stew he hasn’t been asked back for the sequel.
While it hasn’t been confirmed this is the reason behind the decision, it’s not really a surprise that after the attention the fling caused and the break down of both his and Kristen’s relationships he won’t be reuniting with the brunette.
Thor star Chris Hemsworth is expected to reprise his role as the huntsman though in the sequel.
