Will Adele Make Her Highly-Anticipated Comeback At The Oscars?

She’s managed to stay well out of the limelight since giving birth back in October, but Adele may be back sooner than we thought.

The 24-year-old singer is rumoured to be returning to the stage next month with an exclusive performance at the Oscars.

Adele is thought to be considering the invitation after the annual event announced that it will be celebrating 50 years of the ‘James Bond’ franchise.

The London-born star provided the title track for the latest 007 film ‘Skyfall’ so of course it would make sense for her to perform it as part of the tribute, especially if the song gains it’s expected nomination for Best Song.

“We are very happy to include a special sequence on our show saluting the Bond films on their 50th birthday,” said Oscar producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron.

“Starting with Dr No back in 1962, the 007 movies have become the longest-running motion picture franchise in history and a beloved global phenomenon.”

However, it’s also been reported that Adele could also be invited to sing at the Golden Globe’s next Sunday – which would mean she would to make a tough choice between the two prestigious events as acts aren’t allowed to perform at both ceremonies.

Let’s just hope that fiancé Simon Konecki is on hand for babysitting duty!
