What Really Happened On Britney Spears’ Allure Shoot
Britney Spears had a relatively normal interview and photo shoot with Allure magazine. Well according to sources the shoot was far from normal.
US magazine are reporting that the troubled pop-tart missed four interview appointments.
On one occasion, Spears’ publicist said she was delayed by important work in the recording studio. However photographer’s had caught the mother-of-two getting her nails done at a salon.
On another occasion a reporter from the magazine was waiting for Spears in her hotel room while she was reportedly at Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills racking up a bill.
The reports are contrary to the comments made by the magazine’s editor-in-chief Linda Wells, who claims the shoot went to plan.
“Britney showed up for Allure’s cover shoot on time and ready to work.
“She was entirely un-self-conscious. She took off her wig and then stripped down to the waist, for no apparent reason, before sitting for hair and makeup.”
However the magazine chose not to run the interview with Spears – and instead the opted to speak to a NYC psychotherapist Jane Greer who believes Brit suffers from bipolar disorder.
Greer states: “Her behaviour suggests bipolar disorder. “The manic episodes with impulsivity and loss of control – the flashing, the head shaving, the hitting the photographer’s car with the umbrella – are what we see.”
Greer also makes a comment which could explain Britney’s anger toward her now estranged mother Lynne.
“Part of manic behaviour is a flight from reality and the anger,” says Greer. “People who are manic get angry at people who try to take away their high – like her mother, for example – by introducing any element of reality.”
