WATCH: Rihanna Sets The Record Straight On ‘777’ Tour With TV Special Teaser
Rihanna looks set to give fans behind the scenes access and an insight through her eyes into her controversial ‘777’ tour via a new documentary set to air in the US next month.
The ‘We Found Love’ singer, who is currently on her ‘Diamonds’ world tour, promoted the release of her seventh studio album ‘Unapologetic’ with a mini tour which saw her perform in seven different countries around the world across seven days, bringing with her a large group of journalists and fans on her jumbo jet.
The tour was plagued with controversy and scandal with the guests on the tour blasting Rihanna for arriving on stage late, keeping them waiting on the plane for several hours without the use of proper toilets and even a bed to sleep on with most forced to nap on the jet.
While the public have heard the horror stories from the passengers over the last few months, it appears Rihanna will be setting the record straight on exactly what happened with a documentary filmed throughout the tour, providing scenes from backstage in addition to clips of the singer’s performances.
In a new trailer released to promote the film, RiRi can be seen walking through the venues before hitting the stage as well as views from the jumbo jet as a message on the screen reads: “One woman takes on the world.”

Rihanna is currently on her seven-month ‘Diamonds’ tour which will see the Bajan songstress perform all over the world including Canada, Europe and Australia, however, similar to her ‘777’ tour, it hasn’t gotten off to the best start with RiRi forced to cancel two shows after being diagnosed with laryngitis.
The ‘777’ tour documentary will air on FOX on May 6. Check out the trailer below…
