VIDEO: YouTube Brits Sophia Grace & Rosie Go To The Grammys

YouTube sensations Sophia Grace Brownlee and Rosie McClelland took on the job of red carpet reporters at the weekend, as they hit the Grammy Awards for Ellen DeGeneres.

The Essex-born children rose to fame when they covered Nicki Minaj’s ‘Super Bass’ and attracted the attention of millions of fans around the world.

Last year they were flown to the US to make their first appearance on Ellen – unaware that their idol Minaj was waiting to meet them.

Reporting from the Grammys on Sunday (February 12), the girls met Rihanna, Katy Perry, Flo Rida, Taylor Swift, Fergie, Maroon 5 and Lady Antebellum as they donned their standard pink tutus and screamed with excitement.

But rather than be nervous, Sophia said it was their appetite that was of utmost concern.

“We weren’t nervous at all,” she said. “We were hungry. We ate cotton candy and sandwiches. It was so good!”

They were particularly starstruck by Rihanna, who Rosie shyly told: “You’re my favourite singer”.

They had also dropped by Ellen last week to perform a Keri Hilson track.
