VIDEO: Stone Temple Pilots Rocker Scott Weiland Dies


Scott Weiland’s tour manager announced the news on Scott’s Facebook saying, “He passed away in his sleep while on a tour stop in Bloomington, Minnesota, with his band the Wildabouts.” The singer rose to fame as the front man of the Grammy award-winning band Stone Temple Pilots, whose hits include Interstate Love Song, Plush, and Vaseline. The band broke up in 2003 and Weiland went on to front Velvet Revolver, the super group that featured former members of Guns N’ Roses.
