Uncanny? Adele Transformed Into Wax With New Madame Tussauds Figure (PHOTOS)
Adele has finally joined the likes of One Direction, Lady Gaga and Rihanna with the unveiling of her brand new waxwork at London’s Madame Tussauds this week, and the resemblance is rather spot on.
The ‘Rolling In The Deep’ singer’s transformation into waxwork has been based on her appearance at the 2012 Grammy Awards where she wore a stunning black shift dress designed by Clements Ribeiro for her stomping performance of ‘Someone Like You,’ which marked her return to the stage months after undergoing throat surgery.
Speaking on the new addition to Madame Tussauds’ hall of fame, PR manager Nicole Fenner has said: “Adele is the perfect addition to the music line up here in. She’s one of the world’s hottest properties right now and one of our most requested personalities.
“In fact we’ve seen a huge increase in requests for her figure since ‘Skyfall’ was released and the timing seems perfect to honour her after such phenomenal success with the song.”
Fenner continued: “She is one of the most influential British female artists and we know she is going to be a huge hit with our guests alongside our other pop greats. We’re very excited to welcome her to Madame Tussauds London.”
The waxwork comes in the midst of a hugely successful year for Adele, who scooped both a Golden Globe and Oscar award for her stunning performance of the ‘Skyfall’ theme song for the latest James Bond flick.
