Tom Hardy Looks Like A Softy As He Cuddles Up To A Puppy On Set Of Kray Twins Biopic, Legend
Tom Hardy looked like a bit of a softy as he cuddled up to an adorable pooch in between filming scenes for the upcoming Kray Twins biopic, Legend.
The Inception actor will play both parts of the tough guy duo, Ronald and Reginald Kray, the identical twin gangsters who terrorized London in the 1950s and 1960s.
However, Tom Hunky… erm we mean Hardy, didn’t look very tough as he shared a moment with a scruffy dog on the set as he filmed scenes in East London.
The retro film also saw lots of vintage cars and Tom’s co-star Emily Browning looked stylish in her ’50s inspired wardrobe with a beehive hairdo and a checked knee-length skirt.
And did we mention that Tom looked pretty dapper in his suit and slicked back hair? If he wasn’t already playing a criminal we would have to place him under arrest for looking so damn fine.
Legend is based on the lives of notorious criminals, Ronald ‘Ronnie’ Kray and his twin brother, Reginald ‘Reggie’ Kray. Together the pair were responsible for armed robberies, arson and murder.
The Krays were eventually arrested on May 8 1968 and were sentenced to life in prison, before Ronnie died in 1995 and his brother Reggie passed away in 2000.
Emily plays Frances Shea, the short-lived wife of Reggie. Their 8-week long marriage ended with Frances taking her own life, although it has since been alleged that Reggie actually murdered her.
The crime-thriller film also stars former Doctor Who star Christopher Ecclestone, Tara Fitzgerald and Taron Egerton and is due for release in late 2015.
