‘Suck It’: Lily Allen Blasts Pregnancy Weight Loss Claims With Furious Rant
Lily Allen has slammed recent reports that she was desperate to lose the weight gained during her pregnancy with her second daughter earlier this year.
The ‘Smile’ singer has hit back at both the Mail Online and Closer magazine for running the story and stated that she did not want to be part of their “whole hatred of women saga.”
“Hey @MailOnline and @CloserOnline don’t drag me into your whole hatred of women saga. I’m f*****g hot and I’m a size happy. Suck it,” Lily tweeted.
Earlier today while at Heathrow airport the singer sarcastically tweeted about her meal: “I’ve only found one meatball in my soup, which I suppose is a good thing seeing as I’m so desperate to be a size 10 n’all.”
A source previously told Closer magazine that the singer wanted to lose weight before her musical comeback. The source said:
“With her comeback getting nearer, Lily is becoming frustrated. She really wants to lose weight all over, but especially on what she calls her “mummy tummy”, thighs, back and face.”
They continued: “She’d love to be a toned size 10 when she hits the limelight again, but she can’t seem to get enough motivation to eat healthily. She’ll starve herself for hours, then hit the sugar because she’ll be so hungry. There will be weeks where she will work out every second day, but then she won’t go to the gym for two weeks.”
Lily recently announced her return to the music industry, and has been working with producer Greg Kurstin as well as Naughty Boy.
Lily will also be duetting with Robbie Williams on a cover of ‘Dream a Little Dream’ on his upcoming new album ‘Swings Both Ways’ which will be out on November 18.
