Sorry Theo James, Has Shailene Woodley Found Love With Indie Musician Nahko?
Shailene Woodley may have just dashed hopes of any off screen romance with her Divergent co-star Theo James, with the actress spotted looking very cosy with musician Nahko last week.
The actress has always remained pretty coy about her love life, and while she’s a huge flirt when she’s around the gorgeous Theo, it looks like Shailene may have quietly found herself a new man.
Shailene was spotted getting close with musician Nahko during a trip to the Hamakua Coast of the Big Island, Hawaii last Wednesday, with a photo emerging of the cute couple enjoying a sunset as they sit talking on a wall. Nahko, frontman for the band Nahko and Medicine for the People, is about to kick off his Australian tour and according to a source speaking to E! News, stopped by Big Island for a few days before work hits. The insider claims that Shailene and Nahko have been dating for a while and she may visit him in Australia while he’s touring.

Shailene has mentioned Nahko in past interviews, gushing that the music man has changed her life. During the press tour for Divergent in the Spring, the actress introduced Nahko as someone who supports her work with All It Takes, a non-profit organisation that empowers individual action creating a movement for a sustainable positive change both locally and globally. She told press the musician “has dramatically changed my life. All of his songs are not only inspirational but relatable, and they coincide perfectly with the vision All It Takes has.”
Back in June, during an interview with InStyle, Shailene dropped an even bigger hint that she could be heading out to Oz to join her rumoured beau. She told the mag that while she doesn’t see herself with a fellow actor, she’s open to travelling for love: “I have zero expectations and zero rules. I’m open. I can’t see it being another actor”, Shailene insisted “except that they understand this lifestyle. Hey I could fall in love with an Aussie and move to Australia. Who knows!”
