Sofia Vergara Is Seeking Hypnotherapy To Cure Her Sweet Tooth

Step away from the candy!

Sofia Vergara has an unhealthy addiction to candy. The actress has revealed that her “obsession” with all things sweet is beginning to take its toll and she’s even considered seeking treatment to help relieve her addiction to the stuff.

The actress may be the most stunning face to have ever graced our televisions may us all very jealous with her enviable figure, but it turns out that while all the other A-litters are chowing down on carrots and spinach smoothies, Sofia loves nothing more than to get stuck into a bag of M&Ms, like the rest of us. But it’s time to cut the candy for good!

This month, the Modern Family star graces the cover of Shape magazine to talk about all things health and fitness, were she made her sickly confession. “I heard about someone in LA who got hypnotized so they wouldn’t eat candy. I’m seriously looking into that because I’m obsessed [with candy],” she told the magazine. However, while the most exercise we get all week is running to the shops to get more chocolate, Sofia says that after indulging on a sugary snack or two, she’ll always hit the gym “harder”.

“When I do indulge, I exercise a bit harder the next day. My workout motto is really simple: No pain, no cake!” We love that motto! Now we just need to take it on board…

However, she insists that exercise has only really become so important to her in the past couple of years. Since hitting her 40s, Vergara says she noticed her body started to change and with it, her self-confidence hit an all time low. She adds: “Everyone knows that I’ve never been into working out. I was always very happy with what I have. Then I hit 40 and I started seeing a softness everywhere on my body.”

While she may still be happy with her figure, unsurprisingly, she thanks her on-screen stepdaughter for inspiring her newfound fitness regime, adding: “Being around Julie and seeing how motivated she is… I started to think more about it.”
