It has been reported that Louise Redknapp, who is co-presenting a new six-part TV series called ‘How Not To Get Old’ has admitted she has not ruled out going under the knife in the future to maintain her appearance despite being wary of the risks of experiencing cosmetic surgery negligence which could potentially lead to her needing to pursue a cosmetic surgery claim.

Talking about her views on potentially going under the knife in future despite the potential scenario of needing to make a cosmetic surgery claim if she was dissatisfied with the results, particularly if malpractice occurred, Louise said: “I’m 38 and in another 10 years’ time, my views on ageing will be very different to now. I try my best to be healthy 90 per cent of the time. Right now, I’ll keep it as natural as I can for as long as I can. But I would never say never to surgery. I didn’t go into this show going, ‘Right, I’m all about the natural and I think anybody who has surgery is awful’.

“If I got to the stage in life when surgery was an option and an answer, I’d absolutely do it. I just wouldn’t rush into it. It’s not something that I would start with, I’d go through a few processes first to get there.”

Louise, a mother of two sons, Charley, nine and four-year old Beau and married to former Liverpool and England footballer Jamie, has also said she has become more comfortable with her appearance as she has become older.

Louise added: “I think you always have personal hang-ups, mine change weekly. As I’ve got older I feel more comfortable in my ability to trust what I think. You get to a certain age where you’re happy to go with the decision you make and, be it wrong or right, it’s the decision you make.

“When you’re in your twenties or early thirties you beat yourself up a bit and say, ‘I wish I’d done this. I’ve worked for many years, I’m very self-sufficient, and I’m proud of where I’ve got to in life, so for that, I feel comfortable in my own skin.”
