‘She Is Ready To Retire’: Sharon Osbourne Ready To Quit Fame To Concentrate On Family?

Sharon Osbourne is reported to be considering stepping away from the limelight in order to concentrate on her family, it’s claimed.

According to an insider, the X Factor judge is ready to bow out of showbiz so that she can spend more time with her family, especially her granddaughter Pearl.

“She is ready to retire, give up the showbiz world and lead a quiet life. She is relishing the idea that she will be able to spend all the time in the world with her little granddaughter Pearl,” the insider told The Sun.

The 60-year-old TV star has had a difficult year after husband Ozzy admitted to falling off the wagon and using drink and drugs again in April.  The Black Sabbath singer’s relapse was reported to have put an immense strain on the couple’s marriage forcing them to live apart and constant rumours of divorce to surface.

Sharon went on to admit in the months following that she never knew the extent of Ozzy’s substance abuse, admitting that she was devastated – but had no plans to divorce the rock singer.

“She and Ozzy have had a tough year and realise how working in different countries has put a strain on their marriage,” the source continued.

Sharon’s desire to spend more time with her family will no doubt have been strengthened by the recent news that her son Jack and wife Lisa lost their second child to a miscarriage earlier this month.
