Sentinels To Shake Up ‘Star Trek Like’ ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past’
‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past’ details are sneaking out, with it being revealed that the mutant hunting robots, the sentinels will feature in the time travelling alternate reality tale.
The movie will feature some of the cast of the original X-Men trilogy, with original movie director Bryan Singer also returning.
X-Men creative consultant Mark Miller told SFX: “I don’t really want to give too much away but the Sentinels are a big feature of this story,” adding: “They will be cool and this will deliver on all of the teasers.”
The film consultant indicated that cinema goers will get to see something special when they head to see ‘Days of Future Past’, stating that no expense will be spared on the latest installment in the film series.
Miller added: “We’ve all been waiting for this ever since ‘X-Men: The Last Stand’ showed us one of their heads. Now it is finally coming, and we only have to pay ten quid to see it in the cinema whereas they’re having to pay $100 million to deliver it. So I’m delighted.”
He also compared the movie to JJ Abrams ‘Star Trek’ franchise, adding: “every character gets their own moment to shine”.
The film is already set to star ‘First Class’ veterans Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence and January Jones,as well as Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman and Sir Ian McKellen already confirmed from the original trilogy.
