Selena Gomez Signs With New Management After ‘Firing Parents’
Selena Gomez has reportedly signed with new management after deciding to professionally part ways with her parents.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the 21-year-old singer and actress has signed with two new talent agencies: WME and Brillstein. This means that her new team includes Aleen Keshishian, Zack Morganroth and Scott Wexler.
THR adds that Selena’s change in squad represents part of her plan to “move on into more adult-oriented fare in film and music”.

Her parents had represented her since she first started at Disney, but earlier this year she severed professional ties after allegedly “outgrowing” them, according to TMZ.
Over the last year she has certainly made tracks towards a more mature image: she appeared in Harmony Korine’s relatively controversial movie Spring Breakers, and also starred alongside Ethan Hawke in the critically-panned Getaway.
Her recent album Stars Dance topped the Billboard 200 chart upon its release; her first LP to be released away from her backing band The Scene, with whom she had previously released three records.
Last weekend the star was seen enjoying the Coachella Music Festival with famous pals Kylie and Kendall Jenner, as well as rumoured on-off boyfriend Justin Bieber.
