Selena Gomez Looks Downcast While Lady Gaga Happily Flaunts New Hair As Both Arrive In Chicago
Selena Gomez is usually one of the most friendliest celebrities often flashing a broad smile for the paparazzi but they appeared to catch the singer on a bad day yesterday evening as she rushed past the photographers after touching down in Chicago, however, fellow pop star Lady Gaga couldn’t have painted more of a different picture as she happily courted the attention arriving in town on the same day.
‘Come & Get It’ singer Selena was less than pleased with the photographers that greeted her after she arrived at an airport in the windy city and appeared to be in a rush as she was quickly escorted to her waiting car. The 21-year-old didn’t seem to be camera-ready with her hair scraped up into a messy bun while she shielded her eyes behind large sunglasses and stuck her hand out in front of her face to prevent photos from being taken.
While she wasn’t exactly in a paparazzi mood, Selena did kindly stop to take a photo with a young fan and even managed to raise a slight smile. The former Disney star has arrived in Chicago a couple of days early ahead of her show alongside Boyz II Men at the Rosemont Theatre on Thursday.
Meanwhile, ‘Applause’ star Lady Gaga was more than happy to be in the spotlight once again when she also arrived in O’Hare sporting some rather loud hair, ditching the long blonde dreadlocks she sported for her performance at the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball in London over the weekend, now rocking a bright green, possibly inspired by the witch from musical Wicked.
The 27-year-old admitted she was sad to be leaving London after spending a few days in the capital and even risked missing her flight after running late. “Thank u London for the amazing trip I am late for the airport! Big kisses from me I love u! Xxx,” Gaga tweeted yesterday.
Gaga is currently busy with preparations for her upcoming artRAVE: The ARTPOP Tour which will kick off in March 2014 in support of her latest number one album while Selena is busy brushing off a bout of controversy.
The singer caused a stir when she reportedly dropped the f-bomb and stormed off stage at the KIIS FM Jingle Ball over the weekend after experiencing technical difficulties. As if that wasn’t enough, Ariana Grande was forced to deny that she threw shade at Selena after she was overheard making a joke about miming at the concert.
