Scarlett Johansson Too Anxious to Ever Try Online Dating

She may now be engaged to Romain Dauriac, but actress Scarlett Johansson has admitted that she wouldn’t be able to try online dating because she would suffer from anxiety as she built her profile. She adds that it would be hard for her to meet people via a website because she would be constantly worried about the person she’s going to meet in real life:

”Just the thought of building a profile gives me anxiety. I’d try to be fair in answering my questions and, but you think, ‘Who’s the freak I’m going to meet?’ and, ‘How do I know if any of this is true?’ I’d be terrible at it.”

Opening up on being newly engaged, Scarlett says it’s a very romantic period in her life at the moment:

”Being engaged is an exciting time to enjoy with a guy I’m deeply in love with. It’s very romantic.”

Scarlett wisely says she believes having a strong friendship with her partner is something she values because she thinks it’s what holds people together in the long term:

”The most important thing is that I want to be friends with my partner more than anything. Of course it’s important to have passion, but you can’t always be in that honeymoon phase. The friendship is really what carries you when you have ups and downs.”
