Russell Crowe Reveals That Michael Jackson Used to Regularly Prank Call Him
We all know that Michael Jackson was a pretty eccentric human being with a child-like sense of humor. Now, actor Russell Crowe has revealed that Michael once got hold of his phone number, and after that, the singer would regularly call him to prank him, often making up fake emergencies before revealing his identity. Sharing the funny memory, Russell says that “Michael Jackson used to tease me on the phone” and that he would even try to hide his very famous voice from the actor to make it more realistic. Russell recalled:
“Michael Jackson used to tease me on the phone. He’d ring me and in a strong voice say, ‘There is an emergency and you need to leave the building’. I’d ask, ‘Who is this?’ And he’d say, ‘Do not worry Russell, just kidding, this is Michael’.”
Russell features in new film ‘Man of Steel’ and admits that this is the first film he has worked on that his children will see him in because he thinks it’s the first one that has been appropriate for them to actually watch:
“I never make movies they can go watch because they are usually movies with cut heads or whores, but this time I made a movie they can actually watch.”
