Royal Tour: Kate Middleton Dazzles In Two Dresses During Visit To Uluru

The Duchess of Cambridge opted for a bespoke, sleeveless dress by Roksanda Ilincic as she joined Prince William on a visit to Australia’s most famous natural landmark, Uluru, known by some as Ayres Rock.

It is the second time Kate has worn a piece by the Serbian designer since arriving in Australia, and she looked radiant in the taupe, cap-sleeved dress, cinched in at the waist with a grey belt.

Kate first wore an Roksanda Ilincic dress for touching down in Australia last Wednesday, when she dazzled in a fitted sunny yellow dress, and was seen in the same cut as the taupe dress in 2012.

Sticking with another of her favourite designers, Kate teamed the loose-fitting dress with nude heels from LK Bennett, that have been spotted on the Duchess several times.

And she matched the heels with a suede Alexander McQueen clutch that has proved a firm favourite on the tour.

With her trademark brunette locks cascading loosely around her shoulders, Kate managed to look the epitome of class in her relaxed ensemble.

Prince William also opted for casual attire for the trip to the country’s most famous natural landmark, dressed in stone-coloured chinos and a matching shirt with the sleeves rolled up.

But the Duke and Duchess were also presented with some accessories for their attire, as the royal couple were presented with hand-made gifts of jewellery and carvings.

Kate said she was thrilled to receive a hand-painted bracelet made from seed and immediately tried on the present.

But William’s gift was slightly more unusual, as he was given a traditional hunting spear, made from barbed mulga wood spear and bound with kangaroo tendons.

The couple then made their way to the Uluru Cultural Centre, where Kate changed into a chequered grey and white dress from Hobbs.

The Duchess has worn the frock before, on a royal engagement in 2012, and decided to stick with the same accessories.
