Robert Pattinson on Jennifer Lawrence: “She’s Absolutely Incredible”

Speaking on the ‘Hunger Games’ actress, Robert says that he thinks she just “glows” which is something he sees as being more versatile when it comes to landing roles. He commented:

“She’s amazing. She’s absolutely incredible. But also we’re different types of people. She seems like she’s super-confident—and I don’t have the kind of confidence. She glows. I think you can fit that into quite a few different areas. Whereas I’ve got a kind of sneak-through-the-cracks style.”

Speaking on whose career he admires, Rob says he likes the direction Joaquin Phoenix has gone in with his career, and also thinks Guy Pearce has done great work because he works at home in Australia and also on international films:

“I like what Joaquin has done. I’m always looking at his stuff—he’s been the most influential actor on me. And in a lot of ways I like Guy’s career as well. But he also does Australian stuff all the time, and I feel weird doing English things. I feel like I’m really naked.”

On if he’d play Indiana Jones, Robert laughs at the idea:

“No. [Laughs] But I mean, I don’t know. That would be so funny if I suddenly got offered it. I’d be like, “Oh s–t!”
