Rihanna To Star In James Bond Movie? She’ll Only ‘Make A Cameo’

Rihanna has been hitting headlines once again this week, as it’s been reported that she’s going to be making an appearance in the upcoming James Bond film that’s due to begin filming later this year. But, despite many questioning the claims, sources have now revealed that RiRi will be starring in the flick, but she’ll only make a “glorified cameo.”

The 24th James Bond film is set to begin shooting on December 6, according to reports, and insiders now suggest that Rihanna will be joining the cast, including Daniel Craig, but her role will not be as big as everyone expects. “There have definitely been discussions of her joining the cast to be a Bond Girl,” a source told HollywoodLife. “But she will not be the most focused Bond Girl if she gets the part. It will be more of a glorified cameo.” The insider then added of previous showbiz cameos: “Something that they have done in the past with people like Madonna, it will be a brief part of the film if she ends up making an appearance.”

And it seems like the producers could, in fact, kill two birds with one stone if they do end up bagging Rihanna for the eagerly anticipated movie, because she could also work on the soundtrack. “They are actually looking for her to do the theme and the role would just be an added bonus,” the source added.

The upcoming movie could possibly be the last to star Daniel Craig as 007, with him breaking records with the last James Bond movie Skyfall, that ended up becoming the highest grossing film in the UK.
