Rihanna has been causing a fashion storm ever since arriving in Paris for Fashion Week on Friday with an array of iconic outfits.

So only the best attire would do for the Diamonds singer as she attended Vivienne Westwood’s 2014 A/W show on Saturday looking as fashion forward as it gets.

The 26-year-old’s arrival at Commes Des Garçons for the British designer’s show courted plenty of attention from the paparazzi and fashionistas all eager to get a glimpse of the Bajan beauty.

Clearly Fashion Week for Ri-Ri is all about making a statement, which she managed perfectly in a mash-up of outfits that on paper would equal a disaster but on the singer oozed cool.

Dressed in a gigantic fur stole emblazoned with the word “fear”, a leather overcoat, beanie hat and white stilettos, Rihanna managed the difficult feat of keeping warm in the chilly Parisian weather and looking uber trendy.

Rihanna recently explained when her love of baggy, boyish clothing started in the March issue of Vogue magazine.”When I was thirteen or fourteen, I didn’t want to wear what my mom wanted me to wear. I was very much a boy in my style, my demeanor,” she told the fashion magazine.

“All my friends were guys. I loved things that boys did. I loved being easy with my clothes. I loved wearing hats and scarves and snapbacks on my head.

“It was my way of rebelling. I wanted to dress like my brother. After a while, it was just easier for Mom to dress us both the same. We wore the same jeans, the same T-shirts.”
