Report: Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth Call Engagement Off!

At any one time, there are a bazillion and one rumors about Miley Cyrus and her relationship with Liam Hemsworth. Although Miley continues to say they are still very much together, they never seem to be photographed around each other any more – have they secretly decided to go their separate ways?

According to new reports, Miley and Liam have called off their engagement and are worried that the spark has simply fizzled out over time. An insider says they now act more like roommates and the passion is no longer there:

“It’s strange, he’s like a roomie who she can have fun with and be silly with — but there’s no passion.”

Liam also isn’t so sure about Miley’s new look which includes short blonde hair and a punk inspired fashion sense:

“Liam always admired Miley’s independence, but this was more like a rebellion, and it freaked him out. She has undergone a complete personality change. She’s basically thugged out.”

The source even goes as far as to say they no longer work as a couple or balance each other out, as Liam has grown up faster than Miley and aren’t on the same level anymore:

“He used to be obsessed with the way she would go wild. But it got more childish to him. He’s growing up — and fast. At first they were yin and yang, balancing each other out. But they got more and more out of sync.”
