Prince William Confirms Kate Middleton Pregnancy? ‘I’m Staying Tight Lipped Over Speculation’

Prince William has admitted that having children is his “key” priority as he failed to deny that the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton is pregnant.

The future King did confess that the couple were “keen” to start a family though stayed “tight-lipped” about when that would be.

“I’m just very keen to have a family and both Catherine and I are looking forward to having a family in the future,” he said in an interview for US TV special The Jubilee Queen.

The couple married in front an audience of two billion last year and ever since the ring went on the finger, rumours of babies and speculation that Kate was pregnant have continued.

But the 29 year-old insisted that the pressure to start a family wasn’t getting to him and that it was the decision about his future in the military that was affecting when the royal couple start a family.

“I’m still trying to decide. It’s a really difficult one because I really enjoy my time in the Air Force and I’d love to continue it,” he explained, “But the pressures of my other life are building. And fighting them off, or balancing the two of them, has proven quite difficult.”

The Prince made it clear though that babies are at the top of his priority list.

“More importantly, I’d rather like to have children. So that’s the key thing really,” he added.

Although there has been no confirmation of the pitter-patter of tiny feet, Prince William was coy when asked if children were imminent and failed to deny that the Duchess was pregnant.

“You won’t get anything out of me. Tight-lipped,” he replied when asked if there was any baby news.

With the Diamond Jubilee this weekend it is likely any announcement would be put off until after the celebrations!

William was spotted getting broody at a recent public engagement as he cooed over a new born baby.
