Pippa Middleton Reveals Olympic Charity Work
She maybe her ‘royal hotness’ to most but Pippa Middleton is also a keen sportswoman and in the spirit of this year’s London Olympics will be working with Kelly Holmes to raise money for her charity.
The Duchess of Cambridge’s younger sister wants to put her new found fame to good use and will work alongside the double gold medal winner to help raise the profile of the Dame Kelly Holmes Legacy trust.
The charity mentors disadvantaged young people in the run-up to the games this summer and like her sister, who announced earlier this week four charities she be supporting Pippa is keen to do her bit.
Dame Kelly spoke of her excitement at the launch of the Forces Charity Challenge this week. She told The Telegraph: “Pippa is going to be doing something for my own charity leading up to the Games.”
Dame Kelly, who is an Olympic ambassador may have let the cat out the bag though as she added: “I’m not really supposed to talk about it yet, so I can’t tell you anymore.”
2012 will be another huge year for Pippa who will be releasing her book on how to be the perfect hostess as well as her various charity commitments.
It has already started with a bang as the young royals come together to celebrate the Duchess of Cambridge’s 30 birthday this weekend.
