Paul Walker’s Girlfriend In Grief Counselling Following Actor’s Death: ‘She Is Still Terribly Wounded’
The girlfriend of Paul Walker, Jasmine Pilchard Gosnell is stuggling to cope following the Fast & Furious star’s tragic death five months ago.
Paul died in a car cash in California last November while enjoying a Thanksgiving break from the set of the seventh fast & Furious movie. At the time of his death that 40-year-old actor was living with his girlfriend of seven years, 23-year-old Jasmine, in Los Angeles.
The actor’s sudden death has been incredibly hard for Jasmine to deal with according to her family who have been by her side in her hometown of Goleta, California since November. Jasmine’s father Casey Gosnell has told the Mail Online:
“I have her in grief counseling. You have to understand that she is still terribly wounded by Paul’s death and will be for a long time.”
“Maybe one day she’ll be ready to talk about Paul but she’s not there yet,” he added”. She’s trying to deal with her loss – it’s been very hard for her. But she has her family and we’re trying to help and support her as much as we can.”

As well as staying with her father in the family home, Jasmine has reportedly also been spending time with her mother Julie Pilchard in nearby Santa Barbara while her grandmother Theresa Gosnell has revealed: “She’s doing the best that she can – it’s been very tough on her. But she’s home now with her family, the people who love her. Home is where she needs to be right now.”
Filming on Fast & Furious 7 resumed in Dubai this month after the productions hiatus in the wake of their leading man’s death. Paul’s younger brothers Caleb and Cody have been spotted on set this week as they prepare to stand in for the actor to complete his final scenes in what will be Walker’s last movie.
