Our House! Victoria Beckham Spending £2 Million On New Home To Recreate Coco Chanel’s Apartment?

Victoria Beckham has reportedly enlisted a top interior designer to make sure her new family home is a carbon copy of Coco Chanel’s apartment.

The singer-turned-fashion designer and her former footballer husband David are in the middle of redecorating their mansion in Holland Park in London.

The ex-Spice Girl is allegedly planning to shell out a whopping £2 million on the project in order to make sure the house is just right for her family.

A source has told  Closer: “She wants her home to look like Coco Chanel’s Paris apartment, as it’s her favourite place in the world.”

The insider added: “She loves the elegant, sleek decor and statement pieces like big mirrors and large chandeliers, as well as the white marble and black lacquer tables.”

It’s not just Madame Coco who is the main inspiration for Victoria’s re-design ideas. She has also decided to shape the renovations to suit David’s hobbies.

“She’s gutting her property and is getting a professional kitchen for David, who loves cooking, and a fashion studio for herself.”

The close source added: “She’s also planning to have a huge screen so she can have life-size videos via Skype.”

Living in such an exclusive area, means that The Beckhams will be neighbours with celebrities that include X Factor boss Simon Cowell.

Simon’s house is ten minutes away from the Beckhams, however, Victoria and David’s house is said to be three times bigger than Simon’s.

“Victoria loves that their house is bigger than Simon’s – she’s told him he has to pop in once it’s finished,” the friend revealed.

“She wants it to be so different from Beckingham Palace and has enlisted interior designer Kelly Hoppen to make sure this house stuns everyone.”
