One Direction’s One Big Announcement: Where We Are Stadium World Tour!

After a week of waiting One Direction’s One Big Announcement has finally been revealed at Wembley Arena today in London and Harry and co. will be on tour again – but this time it’ll be even bigger than their first one as the lads will be thrilling their fans in a stadium tour called the Where We Are.

Zayn, Liam, Harry, Niall and Louis are currently in the middle on their Take Me Home world tour but clearly 117 dates in 19 countries wasn’t quite enough and the lads confirmed this morning following days of intrigue they’ll be off on tour again next year visiting a whole host of new countries including South America.

Niall confirmed to the excited room of journalists: “We are doing a worldwide stadium tour. We will be touring in Latin America first then UK and Ireland.

“We are ecstatic. We have only been a band for three years and we’re already doing stadiums – including Wembley.”

Looks like the lads will be having an even bigger year next year than this one and with their third album set to be released later this year’ there is A LOT of One Direction fun to thrill their army of fans.

Claiming they’d planned the tour to make sure as many fans as possible can see them Harry explained: “It’s important the fans and everyone who comes to see the show know it’s going to be much bigger and new songs. A completely different tour.”

Admitting South America was one of the places the boys were most excited about visiting Niall Horan revealed: “We’re all big football fans. Would love to be in Brazil for the world cup.”

While Liam appeared still a little over-whelmed that they even have fans so far from the UK.

He said: “It’s mad that the people in the places like Chile know us and it’s great to go there.”

Tickets will go on sale for the Ireland and UK dates later this month on Saturday May 25 at 10am.

We can’t wait!
