One Direction And 5 Seconds Of Summer To Go Head To Head At 2014 MTV EMAs
The MTV EMAs are set to take place on November 9 at the Hydro Arena in Glasgow this year and the nominations have now been announced, with 5 Seconds Of Summer and One Direction going head to head in the Best Pop category.
Katy Perry is leading the way this year, with the singer bagging a whopping seven nominations. Ariana Grande is also up there, with six nods and 5 Seconds Of Summer and Pharrell Williams are both up for five.
Interestingly, One Direction are up for four awards, which is two less than the 5SOS boys, with Nicki Minaj, Iggy Azalea, Eminem, Sam Smith and Kiesza also being up for four gongs.
