Niall Horan To Have His Face Printed On Bank Notes! Ireland Set To Unveil Some ‘Special Edition Money’

One Direction are one of the biggest boybands in the world at the minute and Niall Horan’s fame in his hometown of Mullingar, Ireland is set to go to a whole new level, as it’s been announced that the hunk’s face is going to be printed on 10,000 special edition bank notes.

According to the Irish Independent, Niall’s beautiful face is set to feature on one side of the crisp bank notes, with Directioners no doubt eager to snap them up!

Mullingar’s “tourism currency” is said to have a local chamber of commerce issue a 10,000 special edition run of Niall Horan “Gar” notes.

Shoppers using the Niall Gar will be entitled to special offers at the town’s participating outlets from the beginning of the New Year.

Chamber president Pat Whelan said: “the Gar has been in circulation since 2011 and we decided it would be great to honour Niall by releasing a special edition Gar with Niall’s face.

“We are all ‘One Direction’ fans and we are proud to see one of our young men from the town doing so well for himself,” Mr Whelan added.

The Gar has previously featured Olympic silver medallist John Joe Nevin and James Joyce.

Meanwhile, Niall has been surrounded by Barbara Palvin romance rumours recently, but a rep has now denied the claims, saying that the pair are “just friends.”

Speculation the 20 year-old blonde star is romancing the brunette beauty went into overdrive this weekend when the couple were spotted holding hands as they left the X Factor wrap party last weekend, following 1D’s performance on the show’s final.

Claiming the images of the couple were innocent, a rep told E! News Niall was merely holding Barbara’s hand as he helped her down the stairs and the couple are “just friends”.
