Niall Horan Sends ‘Love’ To Rihanna After Watching ‘Diamonds’ Tour Show In Australia

Niall Horan appears to be quite the smitten kitten after watching Rihanna’s latest show on her ‘Diamonds’ tour last night in Australia and couldn’t wait to gush about the beauty’s performance on Twitter, admitting that she “killed it” on stage.

The ‘Pour It Up’ songstress performed the first of two shows at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Monday night and it looks as though she attracted a famous face in the audience with One Direction cutie Niall enjoying time off from his own tour to watch RiRi twerk and writhe around on stage.

While it isn’t known if he was joined by any of his bandmates, Niall probably wasn’t missing them too much as he appeared to have the time of his life at the concert sharing part of the night with fans on Instagram in the form of a video in which RiRi can be heard belting out part of her hit single ‘Diamonds’ to thousands of fans in the arena.

“Shine bright like a diamond ! @badgirlriri killed it! Big love,” Niall wrote to the singer.

Perhaps Niall was attempting to rival his pal Justin Bieber for Rihanna’s affections after the ‘Boyfriend’ singer complimented the Bajan star on her performance in Singapore last month, tweeting: “Watched my girl @rihanna kill it last night in Singapore. Tomorrow it is my turn. #BELIEVETOUR.” Unike Niall, Justin actually got a reply from the super star who wrote back: “Thanks bro! Fun times!”

Meanwhile, Niall and his One Direction bandmates are preparing to kick off their own dates in Melbourne from tomorrow where they will also perform two nights before moving onto Sydney and New Zealand.

Aside from some over-zealous fans, the jaunt Down Under appears to be going well so far, however, Louis Tomlinson is currently battling from a sore throat and while he has carried on with the shows he has remained relatively silent on social networks since tweeting: “Lost my voice :(.”
