New Cheryl Cole Album For ‘Early 2012’ Release

Cheryl Cole’s third solo album is set for release in early 2012, it has been claimed.

The Girls Aloud singer is planning to release the follow-up to Messy Little Raindrops and 3 Words in just a few months.

“Cheryl’s actually been working on her new album since the very beginning of the year and the first single should be out early next year,” a source told Metro. “She’s loving the experience this time around because she has never really had the chance to spend a decent amount of time recording her albums as they’ve always been fitted around The X Factor.

“It’s the first time she’s been able to properly take her time exploring and teaming up with people. The full album should be ready to go out within the first six months of next year.”

Cheryl’s first two albums both topped the UK charts, as did their lead singles ‘Fight For This Love’ and ‘Promise This’. Can she achieve the same success without The X Factor as a platform?

The source continued: “Alex [Da Kid, Producer] has worked on a lot of it and obviously will.i.am has had a big input producing it. She’s never been far away from recording and has made sure she puts in time in the studio, whether it be in LA, New York or London.”

Chezza’s been linked to collaborations with Britney Spears, Christina Aguilara, David Guetta, Taio Cruz and Justin Bieber.

We wonder if her Girls Aloud bandmates are worried about it affecting with their reunion plans…
