‘My Songs Don’t Suit Twerking’: Leona Lewis Thinks She’d Look ‘Weird’ Dancing Miley Cyrus Style
Leona Lewis has delcared she won’t be seen twerking any time soon, making the fair assessment that her songs aren’t really suitable for busting Miley Cyrus style moves to.
The 28-year-old singer. who is more used to belting out ballads, doesn’t plan to change her performance style.

London-born Leona declared that twerking wasn’t her style during an interview this morning, explaining that her hits including ‘A Moment Like This’ and ‘Footprints In The Sand’ aren’t suitable twerking soundtracks. “I feel like my songs don’t really suit twerking so it might look weird if I just started suddenly,” she said on ITV’s ‘Daybreak’.
The ‘Run’ singer happily chatted about her former X Factor mentor Simon Cowell, revealing that he played a big part in her upcoming Christmas album. “He’s definitely in my phonebook,” she said. “I worked closely with him on this record and work closely with him on all of my records.”
Leona also joked that she wants to give the music mogul a style overhaul, suggesting he needs to get in the festive spirit. “I’ve not seen him in a Christmas jumper yet – maybe I’ll buy him one for Christmas!” she said.

Leona is currently gearing up for the release of her fourth studio album, the festive-themed collection of covers ‘Christmas, With Love’. The album will be preceded by a single, ‘One More Sleep’, which is accompanied by a seasonal video showing Leona, her pals and boyfriend cooking up a Christmas dinner and putting presents under the tree.
Since being crowned winner of The X Factor nearly seven years ago, Leona has released three albums and topped the UK Singles Chart three times. The singer is currently mid-way through a promotional tour. She recently appeared on the X Factor to mentor Sam Bailey, before the hopeful performed Leona’s chart-topping single ‘Bleeding Love’.
‘One More Sleep’ is out on December 1 and the album ‘Christmas, With Love’ will be available on December 2.
