Miley Cyrus is Gender Fluid, Doesn’t Identify as Male or Female

Miley is trying to promote gender equality and support LGBT youth lately, but the more she seems to talk about these issues, the more confused it sounds. Firstly, she says she feels she is gender fluid and doesn’t identify as male or female which does add up:

“I’m just equal. I’m just even. It has nothing to do with any parts of me or how I dress or how I look. It’s literally just how I feel. People try to make everyone something. You can just be whatever you want to be.”

She explains that while dating a girl, she felt she must behave like a man because the woman would feel the need to be protected – which in itself is a stereotype, while she said about being with a man:

“That made me feel like I had to be a femme-bot, which I’m not. And then when I was with a girl, I felt like, ‘Oh sh*t, she’s going to need someone to protect her, so I’m going to need to have this macho energy.’ And that didn’t feel right either”

She goes on to tell an anecdote that uses several confused gender stereotypes and barely makes sense. She says she went to a restaurant one Valentine’s Day and hated what she saw:

“All the women in the restaurant were with these older, fat men that had just let themselves go. They were just being drunk b*stards. And then the women were sitting there, trying so hard just to look good. And they’re ignoring them the whole time. And I thought, ‘I’m not living like this. If I end up in a straight relationship, that’s fine — but I’m not going to be with f***ing slob guys who are watching p*rn, making all their girls feel ugly.”

Miley adds that there are “slim pickings” when on the hunt for a soul mate:

“F***ing is easy. You can find someone to f*** in five seconds. We want to find someone we can talk to. And be ourselves with. That’s fairly slim pickings.”
