Miley Cyrus Drops Out Of Film Role To Make Pop Comeback
Miley Cyrus has dropped out of new family animation ‘Hotel Transylvania’ so she can record a new album.
The former Hannah Montana star had vowed after 2010’s Can’t Be Tamed to put her music career on pause while she focussed on her film work, and has only made two films since.
The first, ‘LOL’, co-stars Demi Moore and is released in the UK on June 1. The second, ‘So Undercover’, will follow later in 2012.
‘Hotel Transylvania’ stars Adam Sandler as Dracula, and Cyrus had signed on to voice his daughter. Gossip Copreports that Selena Gomez is heavily tipped to replace her.
Confirming the news on Twitter, Cyrus replied to a fan who shared the news by saying: “I really wanna work on my music this year! That’s all :)”
The star has defended Moore recently over her co-star’s admission to rehab.
