Miley Cyrus Advises Young People Not to Launch Early Career

Hinting that she wished things had been different for her? Miley Cyrus has advised young people who aspire to have an acting career not to start too young. She believes that it’s important for kids to have a normal childhood because there is otherwise so much responsibility on them and they need to enjoy themselves and be children for a while first:

”People are like, ‘What’s your advice to young people that want to be actors?’ And I’m like, ‘Don’t do it’, because you need to enjoy being a kid. People don’t realise, but with so many responsibilities you hold an entire company on your back.”

She adds that there is a lot of pressure on young people in the spotlight because they have to do the right thing from an early age and can’t afford to “f**k up” because there is too much at stake:

”You’re a kid so you’re supposed to f**k up. Then when you do, it’s the head of the company that ends up getting letters from a thousand different people, and that all comes down on him, which then comes down on me. I don’t think any kid should be responsible for their personal life representing a company as big as that.”
