Michael Jordan Married Cuban Former Model Yvette Prieto in Palm Beach

50-year-old basketball legend Michael Jordan got married this weekend to his long-time love 35-year-old Yvette Prieto, a former model from Cuba. The lavish wedding reception was held at the Bear’s Club in Palm Beach while the ceremony itself took place at Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea. Michael owns a private residence nearby.

Although it was rumored that as many as 2,000 guests might attend, luckily the number was much smaller (but still big!). 300 guests were invited in total, including Tiger Woods, Spike Lee and Patrick Ewing. The reception included some amazing performances by the likes of DJ MC Lyte, K’Jon, Robin Thicke and Usher.

Jordan and Prieto met 5 years ago and became engaged in December last year. Jordan has three children from his previous relationship with Juanita Vanoy which ended in 2006. Michael’s mother and children were in attendance on the big day.
