Michael Douglas has admitted that Viagra has helped his marriage to Catherine Zeta-Jones.

In an interview with AARP magazine, the 65-year-old actor said the male performance enhancing drug was one of the reason’s behind the couple’s successful relationship.

“God bless her that she likes older guys,” Michael said of his 40-year-old wife.

“And some wonderful enhancements have happened in the last few years – Viagra, Cialis – that can make us all feel younger.”

The couple have continued to grow from strength to strength since their marriage in 2000.

Michael, who has two children by the actress – Dylan, 9, and Carys, 6 – said his family was now more important than his movie career.

“I’m not so concerned about my career,” he said.

The veteran actor also spoke in the interview about his eldest son, Cameron, who was arrested last June on drugs charges.

Meanwhile, Catherine Zeta-Jones admitted earlier this month that she only had eyes for older men.
