Megan Fox Says She Tries To Only Work 20 Days A Year
Megan Fox works hard for her money—but only for 20 days out of the year! The actress, who will star alongside Will Arnett in the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, recently talked to Parents magazine about her desire to work as little as possible and still be able to provide for her children.
“I have to make one movie a year because I have to invest in their future and I have to be able to pay their way through college and be able to provide for them,” she told the magazine. “I’m looking for movies that will shoot in Los Angeles, for projects where I’m part of an ensemble so I can shoot in and out in 10-20 days.”
Megan and her husband, Brian Austin Green, welcomed their second son, Bodhi, in February. They are already the parents of almost-two-year-old Noah, and Brian has an 11-year-old son from a previous relationship. Megan opened up about how motherhood has changed her life and priorities.
“Before you have kids, you really do not understand how much work it is and how consuming it is,” she said, adding that she does not let her children watch television. “I had no idea how worried I was going to be for the rest of my life. From the moment I gave birth to Noah that was the first time I was like, ‘I love something so much that I will never be the same again.”’
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be Megan’s first role since she appeared in the film This Is 40 in 2012. Her husband Brian has done movies and guest-starring roles on television series since Beverly Hills 90210, the show that gave him his big break, ended in 2000. He will next appear in Don’t Blink, a sci-fi movie set to be released in September.
