Martha Stewart Disses Gwyneth Paltrow Again, Mocks ‘Conscious Uncoupling’

It seems Martha Stewart won’t be backing down from her feud with Gwyneth Paltrow anytime soon, as the star seems to have poked fun at the actress once again, this time mocking her “conscious uncoupling” from husband Chris Martin.

Writing an article about pie-filling combination suggestions for this Thanksgiving, Stewart, 73, appears to be talking about more than just chicken and vegetables, instead using the “pie-filling” as a marriage analogy, in a post titled ‘Conscious Coupling’.

“Every Thanksgiving table should be blessed with the presence of a long-married pair who bring out the best in each other, are completely enamored despite their differences, and leave every other guest thinking, I’ll have what they’re having,” the television personality wrote.

“Our holiday pies honor such so there’s a pleasant mix of textures and flavors in every bite. No matter how you slice partnerships, each spotlighting the perfect marriage of crust and filling these six irresistible desserts, there is a whole lot to love.”

It sounds like the comments could definitely be a dig at Paltrow and Martin’s “conscious uncoupling” back in March. Speaking about their breakup on her website, Goop, the Iron Man actress wrote: “It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate. We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate.

“We are, however, and always will be a family, and in many ways we are closer than we have ever been. We are parents first and foremost, to two incredibly wonderful children and we ask for their and our space and privacy to be respected at this difficult time. We have always conducted our relationship privately, and we hope that as we consciously uncouple and coparent (sic), we will be able to continue in the same manner.”

Last month, Martha blasted the mum-of-two – who is often compared to Stewart because of her apparent desire to want to be a lifestyle guru – for trying to be something she’s not. She told Net-a-Porter, “She just needs to be quiet. She’s a movie star. If she were confident in her acting, she wouldn’t be trying to be Martha Stewart.”
