Marilyn Manson Set To Star In Final Season Of Sons of Anarchy

Marilyn Manson is set to star in FX show Sons of Anarchy – and it looks like it’s going to be more than just a cameo for the controversial singer.

Sons of Anarchy is going into its final season and Manson has already been involved in contributing the music for the show – but now he’s going to take that one step further, by appearing in a recurring role.

According to Variety, Manson is going to play an imprisoned white supremacist named Ron Tully, who is used by Jax to expand his power base.

Manson said about the upcoming role: “Sons has been such a big part of my life, as well as my father’s. So I was determined to make him proud by being involved in what will probably be remembered as the most amazing piece of television cinema. After all, the very heart of SOA is about that relationship. So, now all I need is a motorcycle.”

The show’s creator Kurt Sutter previously teased Manson’s role, although no details were known at that point.

Writing on Twitter, he said he was listening to one of Manson’s new songs, labelleing it: “potent. creepy. cool.”

He added: “look for him in season 7. he’ll be the guy riding the dragon.” (sic)

This won’t be Manson’s first foray into show business – he’s also provided a voice for ABC’s Once Upon A Time and played himself in Californication, as well as featuring in David Lynch films such as Jawbreaker.
