LISTEN: Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake’s New Single ‘Never Felt So Good’
Michael Jackson’s new posthumous single ‘Never Felt So Good’ has just premiered and features Justin Timberlake lending his vocals ahead of the King of Pop’s upcoming album ‘Xscape.’
Jackson’s posthumous album ‘Xscape’ is set for release later this month and will feature three versions of disco-themed ‘Never Felt So Good’ – a solo sung by Michael himself, the original demo and the duet with Timberlake which has now been released.
Usher debuted the single, which was recorded in 1983, at yesterday’s iHeart awards show, performing snazzy choreography in honour of the late singer.
Xscape will feature a bevy of stars including Mary J. Blige and D’Angelo while Timberland and L.A. Reid have executive produced the record, which consists of eight tracks along with StarGate, Rodney Jenkins and Jerome ‘Jroc’ Harmon.
Michael’s second posthumous album has been described as “a magic combination of the new and the original production that retains the track’s analog, early 80s feel, while also sounding right at home with the disco-soul inflected music of today.”
One new song will be released every day over the next week with the album set for release on May 12.
