Liam Payne Warns One Direction Fans: ‘Kids Should Be Having Fun Instead Of Using Social Media’
One Direction heartthrob Liam Payne reckons his young fans should be out and about enjoying life rather than spending their free time on social media sites such as Twitter and Instagram, according to latest reports.
Although all of the 1D singers are avid users of social media networks, the 20-year-old star says he worries about how much time youngsters spend on the sites.
”When I think about it, I do start to worry about this whole social media thing,” he told Top of the Pops magazine. “It does make me uncomfortable; kids should be out, living their lives, getting out and enjoying themselves.”

While Liam and his One Direction bandmates, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik are currently on a break ahead of their Where We Are world tour, kicking off in April, Payne is still coming to terms with their global fame.
He explained: ”It’s surreal and I don’t think any of us have got our heads around it. It’s amazing, it’s crazy, it’s like nothing we ever thought would happen, but it’s also just weird. The performing, the writing, the albums – all of that is just more incredible than you could ever imagine.”
