Kit Harington Knows His Film Career Sucks, Sounds Ungrateful for ‘GOT’

‘Game of Thrones’ star Kit Harington thinks being on the show can actually be a pain in the – you get the idea. Why? Because he spends his entire life talking about being Jon Snow, which admittedly does sound sort of lame. The actor complained:

”’Game Of Thrones’ is my life, it’s my day job, I love it. But honestly, if there is a curse of Thrones, it’s a lifetime of having to talk about it.”

Further to this, he wishes success hadn’t come so easily to him, because he appreciates his job less (which is palpable from this interview). He actually wishes there was an awful struggle before landing the part, because then he’d feel like he had achieved something:

”It would be foolish to say I wish I’d gone through a period of longing. Because any actors going through a period of longing themselves would tear my f***ing face off.”

Damn right, they would. Kit isn’t done complaining there either, he also wishes people would just stop recognising him all over. He finds it frustrating:

”I’m more recognisable in public than much better-known actors. So many people watch, and I go around looking like my character.”

Kit has been in some stinkers on the big screen, including recently released ‘Pompeii’ and he’s quickly realizing that his film career basically sucks so far. He says he has been “nearly in tears” after seeing some of the final films he’s made and thinks his career may be over:

”I won’t name names and I won’t name films but I’ve sat through private screenings, nearly in tears. Hating it. Thinking; this is the end, everything’s over.”
