Kim Kardashian’s ”Trip From Hell” After Encountering Racism in Vienna

Kim was paid to make an appearance at an Austrian ball by a wealthy man but she was shocked by the blatant racism she was surrounded by, including a man in blackface and another who made a very inappropriate joke about her now husband, rapper Kanye West. On the latest episode of ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’, Kim is at the ball when she sees the man in blackface. She comments:

”I can’t believe there’s this guy is in blackface. I don’t get why him or anyone else would find this funny.”

Kim’s mom Kris adds “this is just a sick joke”. Later on in the evening, an interviewer says to Kim, referring to Kanye’s song ‘N****s in Paris’ : ”Yeah, we’re going to dance. We wait for ‘N****s in Vienna’.” Kim sounds shocked when she hears the interviwer and says: ”Did he say what I think he just said?”

Kris commented on the trip:

”I come to Vienna and everything I had that’s valuable is stolen out of my suitcase and this man treats Kim with such disrespect. That’s not where we come from, my children are taught to treat people with respect … I feel like I let my daughter down by allowing her to even experience this nonsense.”

Kim says that things got even worse when she got on the plane to go home from the trip, and she had yet another racist encounter, this time with a woman who took aim at her for dating black men:

”[She said] ‘She has a sex video with a black guy…’ going on and on. And then the pilot had to come out, the captain, everyone … they’re all, ‘We’re going to call the LAPD the second we land.’ Her husband sat on her [and told her], ‘Shut the f**k up.’ ”
