Kim Kardashian & Kanye West to Wear Crowns & Build Royal Balcony for Wedding

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are hoping to take a page out of Kate Middleton and Prince William’s book, by turning their Parisian wedding in to a royal-inspired affair. Reports say the couple are set to shell out around $400,000 to construct a temporary balcony so they can share their first kiss in front of their guests from it, just like the royal couple did at their nuptials. The wedding will take place at the Chateau Louis XIV and Kim is over the moon about the French location:

“Kim has fallen in love with the place. They want to give their guests a real taste of Paris. Kanye is also in talks to hold a spectacular fireworks display to rival the lightshow at the London Olympics.”

As if that wasn’t enough of a blatant royal reference, the couple are taking further inspiration from the British royal couple by wearing custom crowns:

“Kim and Kanye will be in handcrafted headpieces he commissioned for them. He thinks he and Kim are royalty.”

The couple are supposedly also renting two restaurants in the Eiffel tower to host a special rehearsal dinner and cocktail party on the night before the wedding. Kim is set to wear three designer-crafted wedding dresses and she’s turned to Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci to design one of the pieces (because we all saw how well her custom Givenchy MET gown turned out). A source says:

“Kim had final fittings, including a dress Kanye has been overseeing the design of at Givenchy.”

So there we have it, Kim and Kanye will be crowned king and queen of their own little fantasyland and live happily ever after – or for about 72 days. Kris Humphies who?
